A week of loss for the Inuit artistic community

This has been a week of loss for the Inuit artistic community. My heartfelt condolences go out to family and friends of the beautiful Joey Ammaq, talented musician, father and husband and member of ArtCirq, who went well before his time, and the great sculptor Kiawak Ashoona who left us a legacy of art to remember him by, and I’ve now just learned that Inuit art champion and gallery owner, Judy Kardosh has passed.
